Why Mint Minds exists
High school students in the UAE make some of their most important decisions early. The subjects they choose in their final years of school shape the majors open to them, and those majors shape their first steps into work. Too often, those choices are made under pressure, from family expectations, from friends, or from an endless scroll of "dream jobs", and with very little sense of how many careers actually exist.
Mint Minds gives students a better starting point: their own interests. Instead of guessing, students discover what kinds of work they're most likely to enjoy, explore real careers and study paths in the UAE, and hear from the people who do that work every day.
Who's behind it
Mint Minds was founded by Noura Antabli, an Industrial-Organizational Psychology graduate and the driving force of Mint Minds.
Industrial-Organizational (I-O) psychology is the study of people at work: what motivates them, how they're selected for jobs, and how well they fit the environments they work in. That background shapes how Mint Minds is built. Rather than offering opinions about which careers are "good", Mint Minds starts from research on how people's interests connect to the work they find satisfying.
Noura also writes about careers, curiosity and the choices students face. You'll find her articles, including the Day in the Life series, below.
How we work
- A proven model. The Mint Minds assessment is built on psychologist John L. Holland's RIASEC model, one of the most widely used frameworks in career guidance. Learn about the six Holland code types.
- Careers mapped to the UAE. Students explore more than 370 careers mapped to the UAE job market, with the study paths that lead to each one.
- People who do the work. Students can book one-on-one sessions with verified industry mentors who share what their careers are really like.
- Real stories. Our guides introduce students to real people and the paths they took.
